Dr. Overton has been a certified clinical psychologist accredited through the State of Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners since August of 2006. Dr. Overton received his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in 1999. From 1999-2006, Dr. Overton attended Azusa Pacific University in California and completed his Masters of Arts (MA) and Doctorate of Psychology (PSYD) degrees. He completed internships at Valley Mental Health in Utah from 2004-2005 and Velasquez Psychological Services in Henderson Nevada from 2005-2006. Dr. Overton opened his own practice, Overton Psychological Services, in 2006 and has been at his Office in Henderson since 2012. Dr. Overton is happily married to Elisabeth Overton and they have eight children.
Dr. Valencia then attended medical school at Cornell University Medical College in New York. He performed his Internal Medicine Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell. He performed his General Cardiology training at the New York University Medical School affiliated hospitals. He then found his way back to the West Coast where he performed an additional two years of Cardiac and Peripheral Intervention training at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. He and his wife, Diana, along with their two kids enjoy traveling and hiking. Additional personal interests include golf, swimming, tennis and running. He is fluent in Spanish.
